Blue Sky Swallows. Oil on canvas. 30x24
I did not finish this painting, and it's quite likely that I never will. Maybe someday, though! Those swallows could use some real eyes.
Everything here needs another layer of paint. But it's not so bad as it is. It's an unusually clean and detailed first layer---most of my paintings at this stage look much more messy and indistinct.
